With local Athens Christian product William "Turtle" Jackson flipping his commitment from Uconn to UGA, Mark Fox lands his highest rated recruit since Kentavious Caldwell-Pope. Now recruiting prognosticators do not have Turtle ranked as highly as KCP once was, however this is a significant recruiting coup for the Hoopdawgs. For Mark Fox to have lost a recruit that resides in Athens would have been devastating for his already poor record in terms of attracting the state`s top basketball talent. I believe the 2015 class will prove to be the most important class in the past decade for Georgia basketball; not to mention potentially determine the future of the Mark Fox regime. There are some big name recruits still on the board that are seriously considering Georgia, hopefully Turtle can help the program get two or three more of the state's top recruits.
