According to the NFL, Aaron Murray will be meeting and working out with the St. Louis Rams sometime next week. The meeting might come with mixed emotions for Murray fans, since the Rams took Sam Bradford with the first overall pick in the 2010 Draft. Leaving many wonder if the Rams looking for a backup, someone to push Bradford, or someone that could beat out Bradford?
Murray has already had official meetings with the Lions, Chiefs, Dolphins, Browns, and Titans. Unofficially, Murray spoke with representatives from the Bengals during the Combine.
All of the attention from the different teams could be good sign that Murray will go at some point during the second day, since teams don’t typically meet with players that aren’t considered early rounds picks. This doesn’t mean that Murray can’t slip to the third day if the teams aren’t impressed.
