Coming off of a big win, Georgia looks to keep rolling when they host Texas A&M Saturday night at Stegeman Coliseum.
The Bulldogs snapped a three-game losing streak with a 91-78 win over LSU Thursday night. It was one of the most complete offensive performances of the season for Georgia who had four different players finish in double figures led by Nemanja Djurisic's 17 points off the bench. The Bulldogs were red hot from the field and finished the game shooting a season best 60 percent.
That win improved Georgia to 11-10 on the season and 5-4 in the SEC. They are one of four teams that are tied for fourth place in the conference standings.
Texas A&M has enjoyed a roller coaster start to the season and come into the game 13-9 overall and 4-5 in conference play. The Aggies started SEC play with three consecutive victories and then lost five straight. They snapped that skid with a 72-52 home win over Mississippi State on Wednesday behind 20 points from Jamal Jones. The Aggies are just 1-4 on the road in conference play.
Saturday's game will be just the third meeting between the two clubs with Georgia claiming two close wins last season. The Bulldogs garnered a 59-52 road win and then held off a late charge to hang on 52-46 at home.
Mark Fox enters Saturday's game with 199 career victories. In 10 seasons, Fox has amassed a 199-116 record and is 76-73 in five seasons with Georgia.
