Georgia looks for its third straight conference win Wednesday night when the Bulldogs travel to Starkville to take on Mississippi State.
The trip to Starkville got off to a rocky start due to the weather and at one point it looked like the Bulldogs might have to take a bus all the way. However, they ended up bussing to Atlanta for a flight into Columbus, Mississippi before taking a short bus ride into Starkville.
The Bulldogs come into the game on a high note having won two straight with wins over LSU and Texas A&M. Georgia's 62-50 win over the Aggies on Saturday improved them to 6-4 in the conference and put them into a tie for fourth place.
Georgia could be catching Mississippi State at a good time given their current five-game losing streak. The Bulldogs most recently suffered a 69-59 loss at home to Kentucky on Saturday.
Mississippi State won the only meeting between the two teams last season scoring a 72-61 win at Stegeman.
Nemanja Djurisic made the trip to Starkville but his status for Wednesday's game won't be determined until sometime closer to tip off. Djurisic left Saturday's game late in the second half with an ankle injury.
