What a long strange trip it's been. After a little over four months of twists, turns, and really crappy targeting penalties the 2013 college football season is about to be nothing but a memory.
Thank goodness. I think most of you can agree with me that, as Bulldog fans, this one has been extremely tough for a variety of reasons. And, frankly, it's not made any better by having to watch Auburn play for it all thanks to some excellent coaching , but also a raft of excellent luck and a recurring ability to overlook the occasional five finger discount.
In short, tonight we are all Seminoles. You can read the Dawg Sports staff's predictions for this one here. I think it's clear that most everyone thinks (and hopes) that Coach Fisher and Florida State pull this one out, just so the duffle bag stashing, sociology degree bestowing, kleptomaniac enabling WarPlainsTigerEagles don't get to crow about another title.
But enough of that. It's the last consequential college football of the 2013 season, and the last open comment thread as well. Thank you to each of you who have made this season's threads interesting and lively, if not always victorious. Here's to you. Until later . . .
