The NFL playoffs, from a Georgia point of view

Let’s try to forget yet another heartbreaking loss by Georgia for a moment. I know it’s hard to do, but the NFL playoffs beckon, and there are many former Dawgs going to the postseason. I’d like to take a moment to recognize them. Here they are, grouped together by team; with stats where applicable:

Cincinnati Bengals

A.J. Green – 98 receptions, 1,426 yards, 11 TD’s. selected for Pro Bowl
Geno Atkins – 20 tackles, 6 sacks in nine games played. (On injured reserve)

Charles Johnson – 31 tackles, 11 sacks

Seattle Seahawks

Chris Clemons – 24 tackles, 4.5 sacks

Denver Broncos

Knowshon Moreno – 1,038 yards rushing, 548 yards receiving, 13 total TD’s
Champ Bailey – spent most of the year injured. 52 career INT’s

Benjamin Watson – 19 receptions, 226 yards, 2 TD’s
