The NFL Playoffs, From a Georgia Point of View: Championship Sunday Edition

We're down to the final four in the NFL playoffs, and most of the Bulldog heavy teams have been eliminated. Cincinnati, which has the most former Dawgs, lost in the first round to San Diego. Carolina, another team with a number of former Georgia players, was knocked out in the second round by San Francisco. With only three games left, here are the remaining former Bulldogs who will be in action this weekend:

Chris Clemons - Seattle: Had two tackles in the Seahawks' win over New Orleans.

Demarcus Dobbs - San Francisco

Champ Bailey - Denver: Had four tackles in the Broncos' win over San Diego

Knowshon Moreno - Denver: Rushed 23 times for 82 yards and a touchdown and caught 1 pass for 12 yards in the Broncos' win over San Diego.

For Georgia fans, Denver is the obvious choice. Moreno, who finally came into his own this year, will always be a favorite with Dawg fans. The veteran Bailey, one of the most versatile players in Georgia history, is another fan favorite. The Broncos will play New England, which currently has no former Bulldogs on its roster, in the AFC championship game.

Here's hoping that whoever you pull for has a good weekend. I'll be rooting for the Broncos.
