It's the Super Bowl. Where else were you going to be but here?
Ladies and gentlemen, it is Super Bowl Sunday, also known as the last day of anything even remotely resembling actual football until G-Day. Our long winter’s discontent begins here . . . but, first, commercials!
With respect to the game itself---yes, I know it’s mostly just an excuse to show Kate Upton getting guys to wash a Mercedes for her---we have discussed this before, but it bears repeating that the San Francisco 49ers feature one former Georgia player (Demarcus Dobbs, who is on injured reserve), while the Baltimore Ravens field two onetime Bulldogs (Dannell Ellerbe and DeAngelo Tyson). Accordingly, I know not what course others may take, but I’ll be pulling for the Ravens.
Whichever way you’ll be rooting, though, we welcome you to join us for tonight’s Super Bowl open comment thread. While we doubt it will be quite as lively as yesterday’s all-day all-sports thread, we look forward to spending the evening with our fellow denizens of Bulldog Nation taking in the spectacle.
