We feel the same way dude. - USA TODAY Sports
Tonight presents our team with an opportunity for a quality win. But can they find an offense?
Tonight the Georgia Bulldogs hit the road to Oxford, Mississippi (that's M I crooked letter, crooked letter, I, crooked letter, crooked letter, I, hump back, hump back, I) to face the Mississippi Rebels Bears Ackbars. We are likely playing for pride at this point but sometimes that frees up a team mentally and they get lose and surprise you. And a win would be a surprise! Let's just hope we can save some face and play real basketball for 40 minutes on national tv.
The game is on ESPN 2 at 8:00pm Athens Standard Time (AST), and can be followed on ESPN 3 as well as gametracker.
We know Kentavious Caldwell-Pope can get it done, but he's going to need help from his teammates for the full 40 minutes. Georgia rolls into Oxford with a 12-12 record, 6-5 in the SEC facing the Rebel Bears record of 18-6 overall with 7-4 in the conference. With the Reb's sitting at 5th in the nation in scoring versus the Hoop Hound's 329th in scoring, well, we all may just feel like Uga after this one.
We can always hope for a miracle, until later...
GO DAWGS!
