Big Ten agrees no more FCS opponents
It sounds like as of 2014, the Big 10 will no longer schedule FCS teams. In addition, I've heard they're going to play a 9 or 10 game conference slate. I commend the Big 10 for this movement, and would love it if not only the SEC, but the ACC, Big 12, and Pac 12 all followed suit. College Football would be much better off if everyone adopted these rules. I for one, would love to see a 9 game SEC slate, plus games with Tech and Clemson every year, with the 12th game open to any other FBS team. While I understand it would be a disadvantage to do so at the moment, if everyone was operating under the same scheduling guidelines, it would make for a great schedule on a yearly basis.
