A Concise Georgia Bulldogs Basketball Recap, Unless You Interpret Literally the Notion That a Picture is Worth a Thousand Words

Brett Davis-USA TODAY Sports

Usually, during Christmas break, my son and I go to a Georgia basketball game. It’s during the weaker part of the Bulldogs’ non-conference schedule, so it’s easy to get decent seats, but, since the Hoop Hounds aren’t particularly good, even a patsy opponent generally is able to provide the Red and Black with a good game, which makes it a win-win from the fan’s perspective. We’ve seen a couple of Mercer games, but, this year, we made it over for the Western Carolina game, which was frustrating for much of the second half before becoming exciting. Here, in Twitter and in pictures, is the recap of my son’s and my trip to Athens on Saturday:

Hey, I never promised you informed commentary on Bulldog basketball. I’m just glad we got the win, even though we did so in a fashion that does not offer encouragement for the rest of the schedule. I hope all of you have a merry Christmas and a happy new year.
