Being pessimistic is what we do around here. Ever since I've started reading Dawg Sports, much less being an active contributor here, there's always been a heavy dose of Munson in our blood. However, I've always been a positive fan. For those familiar with the UGA message boards, one could label me a "Disney Dawg" in the past.
Those days are no more, it seems. From my griping about only beating Florida by three points, to the vitriol I got on Twitter after saying I thought Murray had a terrible game after North Texas, this hasn't been my season of optimism. So, in this solo episode, I fully embraced the pessimism.
Don't get me wrong, for most of the show, I wax Dawg Poetic about how we can beat Auburn, and I throw some great stats at you that makes you think we have a puncher's chance. Then, I yank the rug right out from under you at the end, and finish it up with my "Stronger" Munson Mix, in which the chorus states, "that doesn't kill me, only makes me stronger."
My name is Kit and I've finally hit rock bottom and I couldn't tell you why. The only thing that can save me is for me to be completely and blatantly wrong. Let's hope that's the case.
