I so appreciate the thoughts and prayers from all of you as my mom, family and I go through this difficult period. It has been a long week, and a longer day because a second procedure was needed to correct something from the initial procedure but we have faith that this will expedite the healing process. We have a great doctor and our nurses are truly heaven sent. I love nurses.
Although she's still facing chemotherapy, the long term prognosis is good. The "here and now" is the hard part. For any of you who have ever had to face cancer personally, or through someone who you love, you know how scary the prospect of meeting this challenge is. When you know that people are thinking of you, it has an effect that cannot be measured. You all lift me up and I thank you all from the bottom of my heart. God bless you all.
