Falcons repeat the agony in the Dome...

This afternoon featured a red and black team from Georgia playing in their respective semi-final game. As before the team from Georgia was an underdog, jumped out to a double digit lead, and eventually lost the game by 4 points. After giving up the lead, the Falcons had the opportunity to take the lead in the final minutes of the 4th quarters. Similar, the two teams from Georgia started the drive by taking chunks from the opposing defenses, reaching the red zone, needing a TD to win, and ultimately failing to score. Time did not run on the Falcons as it did the Dawgs but they did run out of downs.

Similar colors. Similar regular season success. Similar semi-final results.

This one hurts but no where near as bad as when time ran out of the Dawgs.
