Well RED of course, but what is the weather going to hold for you at game day tomorrow in CoMo? Right now there is a severe thunderstorm warning in effect for Boone County, MO - which includes Faurot field and many of the hotels where the DAWG faithful are congregating. So if you are in CoMo now take cover and avoid the 60 mph winds and ping ball size hail that may get tossed your way.
... A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FOR CENTRAL BOONE COUNTY UNTIL 500 PM CDT...AT 406 PM CDT... A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WAS LOCATED NEAR COLUMBIA... AND MOVING EAST AT 30 MPH. HAZARD... PING PONG BALL SIZE HAIL AND 60 MPH WIND GUSTS. IMPACT... DAMAGE TO VEHICLES... ROOFS AND WINDOWS. MINOR TREE DAMAGE... WITH LIMBS UP TO ONE INCH IN DIAMETER BROKEN. (and a severe thunderstorm watch until 1000 pm)
As for tomorrow aside from it raining DAWGS on the Cats offense...read after the jump for your Dawg friendly forecast...
For tonight, once the current storm passes you can look for isolated thunderstorms until somewhere around 8pm and then cloudy skies with a potential of isolated storms...as you introduce CoMo to DawgNation, take an umbrella. Around Midnight the skies should clear and you can chuck the umbrella and enjoy a long night of pre-game partying. Temps should be somewhere between the mid 60s to mid 50s for the night
If you are an early riser...then sunrise is around 6:45 local and the skies should be nice and clear with a brisk morning temperature...mid 50's slowly edging up to 70 by noon.
Now since I am assuming many of you will hazard the weather tonight and venture out and sleep in...around noon, the skies should still be clear and the temp should be a nice low to mid 70s with a nice NNW breeze of 10-15 mph until game time. Perfect for tailgates, BBQ and drinking.
Game time should feature the a nice sun setting about an hour or so after kickoff (7:28 local) and temps slowly dropping from the mid 70's to the mid 60's by 9 pm local.
Chance of rain once the current storm passes is the greatest on Friday night until 11pm to midnight and then ZERO up until well after 4-5 pm Sunday. Sounds like a great weekend for SEC Football.
Enjoy Missouri and as always
GO DAWGS
