We interrupt this football Friday with a brief announcement regarding some changes for the better which will be taking place here at Dawg Sports, and throughout the SB Nation network, in the next month. We will be undergoing a dramatic upgrade to our platform and our editorial process. Many more details will follow, but, for now, we are giving you a taste of what is to come by unveiling the new Dawg Sports logo:
This is a small yet significant sample of what you will be seeing when our network undergoes the most exciting and radical transformation in the eight-year history of the company. A new visual identity here and across the network is only one step being taken to unite all the team blogs, regional sites, and sports-specific hubs throughout the network under a single aegis clearly identifying Dawg Sports as part of the SB Nation network.
Don’t worry, though; what we do here will not change, nor will your place in the community and in the conversation. The identity of Dawg Sports is, and will remain, distinctly our own, but the greater integration of what is being dubbed “SB Nation United” will allow readers to navigate not just around this site, but also throughout the network, with greater ease and convenience.
