Widespread Panic reminds us that we have much to be thankful for on Saturday mornings in September.
The Dawgs just keep rolling along and I suspect that may continue for quite some time. Then again, I tend to be unjustifiably optimistic most of the time. Regardless, as our Georgia Bulldogs prepare to take the field against the Tennessee Volunteers this afternoon at 3:30, I think this is an opportune time to reflect on what makes these fall weekends so spectacular (whether you find yourself in Athens or in your own backyard). There is football, of course, but beyond that lets take a minute to thank the Lord for ribs and whiskey with a little help from Athens' own Widespread Panic.
This is your way too early open comment thread (should you need it) and the soundtrack for your Creamsicle defeatin' Precious hot seatin', rib eatin', whiskey drinkin' Saturday morning.
