I have only seen brief mentions in the regular media, but I think the shake up in the Quarterback depth chart deserves more attention. Not to put a damper on the feel good vibe, but
it is impossible for me to overlook this - Christian LeMay is not an SEC QB. Not by a long shot. His appearances this year have been disastrous. Yes, I know he is coming in behind the second team line when the game is all but over, but he looks LOST. And confused. And scared. It is so bad now that Parker Welch saw action against Vandy before LeMay did. And notice that they signaled the plays in to Welch (because he knows the signs), but when Lemay is in they either shuttle it in with a WR or he runs to the sideline to get the play. He is in his second year and should be much farther along.
Now the redshirt of Mason makes sense to me. Murray will not leave early, so Mason is #2 next year and we redshirt Ramsey. Then Ramsey and Mason fight it out for the starting job in 2014 and Ramsey is definitely the man in 2015. LeMay transfers or just rides the bench into oblivion.
