Griffin no longer committed
In a strange turn of events, Mill Creek's Kelsey Griffin is no longer committed to Georgia after giving is pledge to the Bulldogs earlier in the day, according to published reports.
Griffin was at his parents' side, along with Mill Creek coach Shannon Jarvis for the announcement.
However, later in the day, Jarvis informed reporters that was no longer the case and the four-star defensive tackle was no longer committed.
Griffin's father Craig had this to say to UGASports football analyst Jake Rowe prior to Friday night's game between Mill Creek and Peachtree Ridge when as sked if his son was still committed to the Bulldogs.
"I guess you can say he is, but he isn't," the elder Griffin said. "We just have to get some things worked out."
