Georgia has picked up their third verbal commitment in the last four days, this one from Brookwood (Snellville, GA) linebacker Shaun McGee. McGee (6-3, 233) committed to the Dawgs over offers from Alabama, Florida, Louisville, Michigan State, North Carolina, Tennessee, and others. Rivals.com rates McGee as a 3-star recruit. Scout.com also rates him as a 3-star recruit and the no. 49 defensive end in the country. Although listed as a defensive end by Scout, McGee projects to play outside linebacker and will back up at the inside linebacker position as well.
