According to the article on ESPN's DawgNation, the University has awarded CTG a 75,000 / yr raise, bringing his salary up to 825,000 with a potential yearly salary of 1.05 million based on incentives from post season play. The bad news is that CTG can leave UGA without penalties if he leaves Georgia for a head coaching position at the college or NFL level or if he departed to become an NFL defensive coordinator. For lower positions he would have to re-pay a percentage of the contract. IMO this just opens the door to a bounty of college level head-coaching positions to tempt CTG. I hope his love for UGA is as string as it appears to be.
