And that may be an understatement. He only pitched 2 innings is his first start (not uncommon), but struck out 4, walked none, and allowed a mere 2 weak singles to the OF. For a recently drafted player, starting his career in A ball instead of the rookie leagues means the Braves think very highly of Wood's ability now.
