Another thu-I mean Florida football player has fallen victim to foul legal hassling from those vicious animal control personnel in the Sun State’s law enforcement division. Leon Orr apparently violated his cruel and unusual stipulations for a deferred prosecution of possession charges by driving with a suspended license. This is also illegal in and of itself for those of you who are legally, or common sense, challenged out there.

In response to the situation and the charges themselves Orr gave this statement :

"First off I wanna apologize to the g nation for this bad publicity , but im being depicted as a criminal of some sort and ive never had hand cuffs put on my wrist or been pictured in a stripe jumpsuit! I jus wanna help my team win and provide for my family," Orr posted on his Twitter account Tuesday.

As yet I haven’t seen any word from the swamp, either UF or the ZooKeeper's office. But clearly this is a simple case of misrepresenting and persecuting a simple, and clearly literate critter who just wants to sun on the bank with his head in the clouds all day. Can’t we just leave the peace loving swamp critters alone?
