The recent news that Greg McGarity and the Clemson AD have started talks to potentially cancel the planned games between the Dawgs and the Tigers in 2013 and 2014 to accommodate the soon to be nine-game ACC conference schedule has not gone unnoticed by our friends in Columbia.
This has led to a bit of debate between myself and the editor of Garnet and Black Attack, Gamecock Man, regarding who UGA fans would prefer to play between his Gamecocks and Clemson. My answer was to play Clemson which you can read my reasoning if you follow the link over to Garnet and Black Attack. However, I didn't feel a population of one was enough to get a consensus on who UGA fans truly prefer to play. So, in a temporary moment of genius, I decided to put a poll together and let you guys vote on it. If forced to give up one of the Palmetto state schools permanently in order to play the other one permanently, who would you prefer? A portion of the debate between myself and Gamecock Man was around the merits that the younger members of the fanbase would likely not care about playing Clemson as much as the older members so I've used age 47 as the arbitrary cut-off age since that would be the current age of the last senior class (assuming you completed your degree in four years) to see Georgia and Clemson play all four years (the last time UGA and Clemson played four years in a row was from 1984-1987). Have it at folks!
Poll
If UGA had to permanently give up playing either Clemson or South Carolina in order to ensure a permanent game with the other team, who would you prefer to continue playing?
