He seems to get how most of us feel about oversigning. In the end, it's not the actual act of managing rosters/grayshirting/whatever. If a coach is upfront with a kid and tells him that he'll have to be grayshirted in the next year if certain other players come along, then I'm fine with that. It's the Saban approach of waiting until two or so weeks before Signing Day when kids that have committed to you have long since shut down their recruiting efforts and telling them there's not room for them because someone better came along and they'll either have to wait a year or find somewhere else.
