Early College Football Game Day Open Comment Thread

"Johnny Football" may have a bit tougher time against the Tide today. - Stacy Revere

The Georgia Bulldogs are playing another night game, which means you have all afternoon to kill. Why not spend it in the company of your fellow Red and Black fans in the general college football game day open comment thread?

Although basketball season began last night, today is all about college football, and, as you saw on RedCrake's handy television viewing schedule, the day gets underway at noon Eastern when the South Carolina Gamecocks host the Arkansas Razorbacks (who, as you may recall, were partially responsible for the Garnet and Black's more daunting SEC slate in the offseason, but so much for that idea, huh?). At 12:21, the SEC Network may bring you the Missouri Tigers' tilt with the Tennessee Volunteers in a battle of hapless SEC East also-rans, or the rich man's Jefferson-Pilot may bring you the Florida Gators' tussle with some Sun Belt squad or another.

At 3:30 p.m. Eastern, we will see a more watchable slate of games, highlighted by the Texas A&M Aggies' trip to Tuscaloosa to face the Alabama Crimson Tide. You are, of course, welcome and encouraged to kill the time between now and kickoff of the Georgia game with your fellow Bulldogs fans in the comment thread below. Please pay heed to your moderators, who are here to help.
