Our pre-weekend games aren't anything to write home about this week, so lets jump right in to the 5 (that's right, count em.... 5!) SEC games in the 12 o'clock hour. You've got the Texas A&M Aggies and the Mississippi St. Bulldogs. You've got the Missouri Tigers and the Florida Gators. You've got the Vanderbilt Commodores and the Kentucky Wildcats!!! Wait... Whats that? More you say? Well alright... You've got the Troy Trojans and the Tennessee Volunteers and the Tulsa Golden Hurricane and the Arkansas Razorbacks. And if the SEC doesn't do it for you? Feel free to catch the battle for who could care less as the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets march dutifully to their demise against the Maryland Terrapins.
While the "marquee" matchup at 3:30 is clearly the Mississippi Rebels travelling to Athens to take on the Georgia Bulldogs, that doesn't mean its your only option. You can always enjoy the Texas Longhorns and the Texas Tech Red Raiders or the Nebraska Cornhuskers and Michigan St. Spartans. However, if you value your sanity, I'd suggest skipping the faceoff between the Illinois Fighting Illini and the Ohio St. Buckeyes as well as the November 3rd, 1984 Game of the Week between the Notre Dame Fighting Irish and the Pittsburgh Panthers.
The nighttime time slots offer plenty of intrigue and national title implications obviously headlined by the matchup between the LSU Tigers and the Alabama Crimson Tide. But beyond that, you can choose from such high stakes contests as the Oklahoma St. Cowboys vs. the Kansas St. Wildcats and the Oregon Ducks vs. the USC Trojans.
And b-dee b-dee b-dee b-dee thats all folks! Enjoy yourselves this weekend and GOOOO DAWGS!
