Saturday Morning Soundtrack: Week 6

Stay connected for news and updates

Daniel Shirey-US PRESSWIRE - Presswire

Gnarls Barkley delivers a tasty track to remind us that a storm is surely coming this evening as the Georgia Bulldogs take on the South Carolina Gamecocks.

After lots of buildup on both sides, games against inferior conference opponents, and more than a few points dropped on unwitting victims, the time has come for either the Georgia Bulldogs or the South Carolina Gamecocks to seize control of the SEC East and the road to Atlanta. And don't give me any of that crap about the Florida Gators being "back." Please! Is Larry Muschamp still their coach? Yeah, I thought so.

So tonight will serve as the beginning of the end for both teams, but what kind of end that might be for each is still anyone's guess. As you ponder that on this glorious October morning, you can be sure that this evening a metaphorical storm is coming. So sit back, relax, perhaps enjoy a frosty beverage and savor this morning's tuneage brought to you by Gnarls Barkley (with former student Brian Burton a.k.a. Danger Mouse providing the UGA-centricity this feature requires).

Its time, Dawg Fans! This is your way-too-early open comment thread for predictions, smack talk, and storm forecasting. Its also the soundtrack for your errbody Gurshallin', visor throwin', cock fightin' Saturday Morning.

"There's a storm on the way... and its comin' no matter what I say..."
