I just wanted to post that I have finally resolved the Internet issues that have been plaguing me since my recent move. I could post the riveting saga about weird addresses, technicians who always seem to end up saying, "I've never seen that before" around me, and the run-around, but that's not the purpose of this post. My post as Dawg Sports poet laureate is one I take (semi) seriously, and I realize that I have been unable to devote suitable time to the position this year. In an effort to rectify that, I am throwing the floor open for suggestions for many Dawgs' favorite time of the season: Hate Week.
I posted a poem a day last year, and I'd like to do the same this year. "But it's too early to plan for Hate Week," some might say. Personally, I don't think there's ever a wrong time of year to hate the Gators and to plan for that special time of year during which we all get to express our hatred. There is also the issue of free time, namely that I don't have as much of it this year as I did last year.
So give me your ideas. Nothing is off-limits. Some of you said that you wished I had done this or that last year; suggest it again and I'll see what I can do. Songs, poetry of all types, prose, and anything else you can think of are all in play. I may not recognize the selections initially, but since I have the Internet back, I once again have the world at my fingertips. Speaking of which, Tripod has finally gone screwy like I knew it would, so what image host would y'all recommend? Hate Week, after all, often requires more than mere text.
