The greatest trick Craig James ever played* was convincing people that it is not significant that he most certainly did not kill five hookers while at SMU. This fact cannot be stressed enough.
*Besides completing his studies at SMU without having killed five hookers.
** And convincing anywhere from 12 to 27 Texans that he would make an even passable Congressman given his inability to cast a logically coherent AP ballot. Oh nevermind. Maybe he'll fit right in.

I have to say...
I’m a little offended by all the “Craig James killed five hookers” business. There is no evidence that Craig James killed five hookers while at SMU. If Craig James killed five hookers, don’t you think the families of the hookers would have come forward. Every time you say that Craig James killed five hookers while at SMU, or that Eric Dickerson helped him dispose of the bodies, you’re just feeding an already of out control meme. So, please stop saying that Craig James killed five hookers.

I can neither confirm nor deny that this unsubstantiated rumor is an actual rumor, . . .
. . . but I heard completely made up just this second that, when he was in college at Georgia, Mike Bobo broke Craig James’s NCAA record by killing six hookers in Athens.
I’m not saying it’s so, but pass it on.
