Sad news on a sad day from State College, PA. Our thoughts and prayers are with Joe Paterno, his family, and the entire Penn State family. (Fair warning, though: If anybody goes to BSD today and trolls them on the recent Sandusky affair, I'm going to personally ban you from this site. This is neither the time nor the place to be discussing that issue.) UPDATE: Multiple reputable organizations, including BSD themselves, are now reporting that Joe Paterno has passed away at age 85. I have updated the title of this FanShot accordingly. UPDATE2: The sources I was relying on (including BSD themselves) were reputable, but a Paterno family spokesman has now said the news of his passing was "absolutely not true." I have changed the headline back. I apologize for the confusion.
