If you can’t make a Sat afternoon SEC game, when exactly are you going to attend? I don’t care if they donated 100k, they don’t deserve those seats. And showing up late isnt cool either.

was simply saying is all. This issue dates back as long as I can remember. The only times I can’t recall it being an issue are Tubby’s second (and final) season, and Harrick’s final season, maybe his last 2 seasons.

Why are you buying seats and not going? I mean, just dont buy the seats. You can still donate. Grrr. Give the tickets to someone. Use craiglist or something – do something. There are a LOT of people that would die to have those seats for just a game. Give them to big brother/big sister. Something.

I remember when I was deployed in Dec 2002, right before we re invaded Iraq, and I worked with this Greek guy as part of our “coalition”. It was all I could do to not ask him to take a shower more often.

In a questionable move
It appears that the football coaches, Richt, Grantham, Garner, and Bobo, are here with some recruits. Unless I was a 2 sport athlete, a UGA basketball game wouldn’t do much to sell me on attending the University of Georgia.

That's some good color right there.
And at some point, I am going to post “Top 10 reasons you should like UGA round ball” and that is going to be number 1. Basketball helps football. UF’s championships in two sports at similar times aren’t coincidence.
And it’s sad we are showing recruits an empty arena in SEC play.

We’re a football school, and we always will be. I just want a reason to care about the basketball team. I understand that the team lost a lot in Thompkins and Leslie, but this team isn’t even going out and competing right now, and I think that’s all we really want out of our basketball team.

If you follow me, you know how much I have harped on the "UGA letterman club" that has had too much power and influence in the AD.
I am all for some house cleaning and I am still not happy about some of the chair shuffling versus going and getting guys. In all areas. Landers is past his prime, Clark doesnt have it, Fox needs some help. The one change McGarity could make without booster friction he made right away with Coach Stemke. So you are spot on in my opinion.

A lot of guys probably were.
I think these post-season bowls are often like the Pro Bowl in that the best guys often don’t play in them because they don’t feel the need.
