Mark Fox's Georgia Bulldogs come into tonight's contest off of a solid performance against the Vanderbilt Commodores, yet they remain winless in SEC play and desperately need a victory over the Tennessee Volunteers if they hope to receive any kind of postseason tournament invitation. Besides, it's a conference game against an orange-clad rival, which is reason enough to want the Hoop Dogs to succeed.

When Mrs. Vineyarddawg and I went to Germany in 2006 for the World Cup we sat next to a guy at the USA-Czech Republic game who was literally wearing a US Flag speedo, sneakers, and absolutely nothing else. And he went the whole game with nothing on but that.
I really respected that he was so comfortable with his body that he could do that. (At least, that’s what i thought during the 3.1 seconds that I could stand to look at him.)

If Gerald Robinson can dribble that fast down the court for a layup then I have no idea why he doesnt always do it.

I've now watched 3:00 in clock time of this game.
Is it just me, or are both of these teams just plain not-good?

football is over, baseball hasn’t started, but between home & work I haven’t been exactly bored.

Football was over for me immediately after the final play of the Outback....
…except I watched the first 3 quarters of the Patriots-Bronco game here in Durango. Pretty quiet local crowd as you can imagine.

I literally switched off the set immediately after Blair Walsh’s field goal was blocked, and I haven’t watched a down of college football since.
Though the wild-card round of the NFL playoffs went against me at every turn (Stafford gone, Green gone, Ward gone, Falcons gone), the ensuing weekend went well, with Tim Tebow and Drew Brees getting bounced. Now I’ll actually be able to enjoy the Super Bowl, due to utter indifference!
