By the way, I just finished going through the latest action in the “backing into a national championship game without winning the SEC would be a hollow victory” thread, and I came this close to changing the site header to “Georgia Bulldogs. Confusing Crimson Tide fans since 2012!” Out of deference to reasonable Alabama fans like kleph (to name the most prominent, but not only, example), I didn’t, but I danged sure thought about it.
Reading their comments and your responses reminds me of what George Will wrote about Robert Bork’s Supreme Court nomination hearings, when the distinguished jurist “explained a simple point to an even simpler senator.” Some of these guys could use a few of those quality distance learning courses.
