Its my pleasure to introduce brand new Bulldog, new DawgSports contributor, and future member of the University of Georgia Class of 2033: 

Samuel Harrison Layfield

Sam was born September 9, 2011 at 5:37 pm.  He is 21 inches long and weighed in at an impressive 8 lbs 2 oz.

Both baby and mommy are doing great.

Here's hoping he's just the good luck charm the Dawgs need tomorrow!
