Georgia Bulldogs Dominate Boise State Broncos on Saturday . . . in Men's Tennis
On the second day of competition at the Atlanta Athletic Club at John’s Creek, the Georgia men’s tennis team took care of Boise State, claiming a 6-0 victory over the squad’s Bronco counterparts.
Returning aces Sadio Doumbia and Wil Spencer won their doubles match, 9-8(4), before defeating their BSU opponents in singles play. Doumbia claimed a 7-5, 6-2 victory, while Spencer dispatched James Meredith, 6-4, 6-4. Freshmen Eric Diaz and Nathan Pasha carded the first doubles win of their Georgia careers, 8-5, before carding singles wins of their own. Diaz bested Adrian Reid, 7-6(5), 6-2, and Pasha completed the sweep with a 7-5, 6-2 triumph of his own.
In other non-football news, the Bulldogs’ cross country teams opened their season with a sweep of the Georgia Invitational, the Red and Black volleyball team fell to 2-4 for the season with a 3-1 loss to UC Santa Barbara in Malibu, and the Bulldog soccer team notched a 2-0 win over Iowa State in the Minnesota Gold Classic.

We've always had great tennis teams at UGA
I wish I could say the same for the football
