Calling all Dawg fans at the Dome!
If you're at the game, and you're all digitally interconnected and what-not, then why not post an update here for those of not fortunate enough to be at the carnival? Tell us about the sights and sounds. How much orange and blue is around? Are the fans "redding it out" pretty well, or are most people cheating on the lower half of their ensembles? And tell us about the atmosphere during the game too, please! Please?

Mea culpa, Xon.
I simply didn’t see this in a timely manner. My son had a youth association football game at noon on Saturday, for which we had to arrive early, so, basically, I had virtually no computer time between the time I went to bed Friday night and the time I got back from the game Saturday night. Accordingly, I only just saw this, for which I apologize.
Go 'Dawgs!
I don't usually have a reliable-enough connection (due to everybody else doing the same thing as me) to post on the website before and/or during the game.
I usually tweet before (and, when possible, during) some games, though.
I'll give you a recap:
Before the game:
Great atmosphere, red everywhere (I wore black in protest of our costumes, fwiw), cautious optimism and relief at the return of college football from Georgia fans. A handful of Boise fans wearing bright blue t-shirts or jerseys, not really saying much.
At the start of the game:
Great crowd noise, about 90/10 (85/15 at the least) pro-UGA crowd, lots of enthusiasm.
At the end of the fourth quarter:
As many Boise fans left as UGA fans, looks of stunned silence everywhere.
After the game:
The UGA contingent that hadn’t already skipped town oscillated between highly depressed and highly pissed off. To Boise fans’ credit, not many of them said much of anything. I think they were very perceptive to the UGA state of mind at the time and knew they would be igniting a powder keg. Kudos to them for not gloating, as a lot of us would have.
