Johnathan Taylor Nominated for "Courage in Sports" Award

Johnathan Taylor, the beloved Georgia Bulldogs baseball player who suffered a life-changing injury in a collision during a game, has been nominated for the America's Choice Honor for Courage in Sports. Taylor, who is continuing his rehabilitation efforts following a severe neck injury that bruised his spinal cord, was selected by the Texas Rangers in the 33rd round of the professional baseball draft. He plans to resume his studies at the University of Georgia, where he was an honor roll student as a Diamond Dog, and he also intends to assist David Perno with the baseball program.

The Courage in Sports award will be presented on November 13 during a televised special, and the winner will be chosen entirely by the votes of the fans. I can think of no candidate more deserving than Johnathan Taylor, and I would encourage all of you to go here and vote as often as you are able.
