We Still Haven't Had a Player Arrest Since October 11!
We had to walk a fine line there, though. Senator Blutarsky is probably right . . . maybe Greg McGarity's "law enforcement appreciation" efforts have paid off!

Israel Troupe's problems appear to stem from a citation for public urination.
See the deal with that is that you can urinate in some of the most public, heavily-traveled places in Athens, but you just have to pick your time, station a good lookout…
…
You know what? Never mind. :-)
Knew it couldn't last forever
especially with everyone making such a big deal about it.

No, it won't last forever, but it's measurable progress that it hasn't happened in nearly ten months.
Don’t forget, Christian Robinson got a ticket on his scooter, too, so the Israel Troupe fine didn’t break any streaks. The important developments are (a) the authorities are actually exercising some prudent judgment for a change, and (b) players, while still making minor mistakes, are making fewer of them, and aren’t letting them escalate into absurdity. This is, if not good news, at least not bad news, and, after the last three years, I’ll take not bad news.
Go 'Dawgs!
b is the key to me...
ACC PD is hit or miss anyway, so that is what it’ll always have to be for a small town police department dealing with a bulk of stupid kids. But so long as we continue with b, I’ll be happy. Then again, school hasn’t gotten in session yet, and we’ve got a whole month where they might think blowing off a little steam downtown is a good idea. Is Amici’s still open?

The comments in the Senator's page are good ones -
UGA player is pissing in the bushes, front page news with the AJC. GT are liars and cheaters and it takes months for the story to come around. That paper has the worst damn sports section in america. You would think those bastards would support the Dawgs like they once did.

Hey Furman Bisher was good personal friends with Homer Rice and Bobby Dodd...
… I’m sorry, what were we talking about, again?
