For the record, no, we won’t be boycotting the app just because Apple is now run by an Auburn alumnus; it’s Auburna delenda est!, not Malum delenda est!

Right now, though, our attention is focused on tonight’s NFL preseason game between the Baltimore Ravens and the Washington Redskins, which kicks off at 8:00 p.m. on ESPN; think of it as fall camp for in-game commenting, so we’ll be in midseason form by September 3.
The Ravens’ roster includes Dannell Ellerbe, while the Redskins’ roster features Kedric Golston. For what it’s worth, Baltimore seems to have a lot of former Auburn players, and Washington seems to have a lot of ex-Gators, so determine your rooting interests accordingly.
Feel free to go ahead and dive in now, but, otherwise, we hope to see you back here at 8:00!

how do you convince a small city’s worth of possums to leave your property? Keep in mind it is apparently illegal in Oklahoma to “bag possums” except from 1 December to 28 February during which time there is neither a daily limit nor a season limit.
A colleague of mine has had such a small city’s worth of possums descend upon her yard.

The other option would be to unleash armadillos.
I am ashamed to admit that I do not know the term for a group of armadillos.

Yeah, I saw that game was on, but I figured that, for comment thread purposes, live game action (even if only NFL preseason football) would be preferable. Really, though, we were just using it as a warm-up, so I definitely support your decision to watch Boise State lose. I hope you get the chance again in a little over a week.

The old house is closing on Monday, so we gotta get up and out of here. :-)
We had a new house, but the inspection turned up some problems, so we dropped it and are going to an apartment for a couple of months. Hopefully we’ll have a new place soon, though!
