While, admittedly, our month-end total will be helped by the fact that I ticked off a Missouri message board, we had cleared the bar even before the offending posting saw the light of day.

July 2011 has surpassed July 2010 in visits and page views, albeit only barely, though that was something of an achievement, since I went away for a week's vacation both months, and last July featured our athletic director getting arrested for DUI with a pair of red panties in his lap, which will tend to do wonders for site traffic.

More to the point, July has featured more visits than any single calendar month since February, and more page views than any since January. MaconDawg and I want to extend our thanks to everyone, from regular commenters to occasional visitors to lurkers who read daily but do not join in the conversation, who makes all this possible, and worthwhile.
