I don't have time to get completely immersed on the subject but thought I could get the discussion started. I have slightly negative leaning feelings on this because my fear is that he ends up being underutilized at RB and never utilized at LB. I guess that all depends on Crowell and Boo's development but if Samuel ends up being the the best back we have, we're probably in trouble anyway. (not to knock the man for his selfless act, but he wasn't the best "natural" back). Thus, while he will certainly prove valuable in the early games, is that enough to justify him sitting on the sidelines and getting no reps later in the season if Crowell and Malcolme begin to perform admirably. Nevermind the fact that he theoretically just waisted 18-20 months of his life switching positions.
