Fox Hounds Lead SEC in Basketball Attendance Increase
The Georgia men's basketball team went from playing before an average of 6,834 fans per game at home last season to playing before an average of 8,250 fans per game in Stegeman Coliseum this season. That improvement ranks ninth in the country, making the Red and Black the only SEC school to make the top 20.
Just think what the Fox Hounds' home court advantage could be if all the season ticket holders showed up on time!

No offense, Kyle. But our swoons were later in games. Maybe the team plays better in front of empty seats. Less pressure.
I am bi-winning. I win not only here but also there.

Cum hoc ergo propter hoc, eh?
Perhaps. But even so, I’d like to see that correlation tested by having a full and loud house prior to kickoff first pitch – um, tip-off, right?.

I agree NCT -
it was frustrating to watch the veteran season ticket holders show up half way through the first half with a dog and coke. The games arent that long at all, and its not like football where parking and getting through the gates can be tough, yet they manage to pull that off. It was also frustrating to see empty seats in major games.
But I am glad attendance is up. Maybe it will build positive momentum and I hope someone is looking into some solution for the season ticket holders that no show so regularly. CMF strikes me as the kind of guy that would send out a letter or make some sort of announcement on the subject.
