Lady Bulldogs Receive Six Seed in NCAA Women's Basketball Tournament

It may have gotten overlooked in all the recent hubbub surrounding Mark Fox's team, but the Georgia Bulldogs field a pretty good women's basketball program, as well. Andy Landers's ladies were awarded a six seed in their postseason field, and Georgia will open the NCAA Women's Basketball Tournament against Middle Tennessee State in Auburn, Ala., at 7:30 p.m. on Sunday, March 20. The winner will advance to face the team that prevails in the Florida State-Samford matchup.
