I think this dream team needs a dream fan base
I am thinking that we too should get inspired within the Dawg Nation and rise to the level that is worthy of a championship caliber program. I know we have been down and very frustrated but I am just feeling a renewed sense of drive here. I have been in a wicked state of cynicism pretty much since the Bama beat down – black jersey = we have the plague night in between the Hedges.
I am going to get to work also on a renewed outlook on this program. Look these coaches are not going anywhere right now – we might as well get behind them all and those boys over there with everything we got.
I for one have been very inspired by how Richt and company have handled the recruiting process and the character of the recruits themselves.
Go DAWGS!

Bravo, Munson's_Marbles...
…I hope your well-reasoned optimism infects the rest of our fanbase.

Because I’m stupid and hopelessly optimistic, I’m already starting to think we’ll go undefeated and win the national championship next year. :P
In all seriousness, I’m pretty excited not just about this recruiting class, but a number of other things that give me hope that Richt has finally knocked the lid off his complacency of the last 5 years.
But we’ll see.
Muckbeast - do you have a lightening bolt deflector over your head right about now? :-)

There are many things to be happy about:
Hot new facility, great recruiting class, coaching changes, a very smart AD, an opening game in the Dome. However, I am sticking to my position that I am not buying into off season hype this year at all. In fact, all the good news and good work tells me that CMR has less room to wiggle. He darn well better do well – there isn’t much room for excuses. I also can’t find myself overly excited about doing the things we should have been doing in the first place; I find comments like “we can work out our tri’s and chest now” to be embarrassing, not optimistic. I just hope we aren’t in a similar mess again for quite some time. I also trust CMR to get things right when faced with a major obstacle and he rarely lets me down. I trust him to be very prepared for BSU. It is very important we keep this good spirit and momentum going as we don’t want to crush this very special class’s spirit. We need to work them hard and turn them loose.

I can't wait to unleash a much improved Dawg D on the Broncos.
Then again, I can’t wait to watch ANY football…I hate this season(s) of malaise (Jan-Aug).
If you're gonna do it, go ugly early.
FWIW...
I will take the general good vibes as we go into “The Winter Of Our Discontent” with a Coke and a smile. A month ago, I really felt a certain hopelessness. Today, things are different. Maybe it’s all I (we) have at the moment, but I do not doubt for a minute that things have taken a positive turn. This will sustain me for the next 7 months. It will have to.

Ok here we go -
I WANT to be excited about Georgia Football. I really, really, really want to be excited about Georgia Football. I took last season in true Tammy Wynette style and Stood By My Men. I don’t want to feel the way I feel about the state of the program. But I do. I’m as jaded as a 50 something year old spinster with a string of ex-fiances littering the highways and byways of her life. I can’t help it. All these new facilities, new staff, new recruits and adorable puppies are great – but I never was one that preferred icing to cake. Too much sweet, not enough substance. I’m jaded, I’m apprehensive, hell I’m practically terrified of football season starting up again. I want wins dang it, and until I get wins, well I guess I’ll just remain a bridesmaid, not a bride.
I can bake like a demon.

any post that incorporates Tammy Wynette, football, life, men, women, puppies, dessert, and middle age and hope is art.
I think you need to get in touch with Tanner Strickland. The lyrics are there, just add a few chords and you’ll be in Nashville before you know it.

We know she can dance, too
Don’t sweat the singing part. If you can’t, Autotune fixes everything….
