Georgia Bulldogs at South Carolina Gamecocks Game Day Open Comment Thread

Stay connected for news and updates

How important is the Georgia Bulldogs' trip to Columbia to face the South Carolina Gamecocks? Mark Fox's Hoop Hounds need more wins against the stronger SEC East, as they have work to do to get off the bubble and into the NCAA Tournament. In short, this afternoon's showdown is so significant as to be effectively a "must win" if the Red and Black hope to avoid dropping into the NIT.

As I noted earlier in the week, this is a big day for Georgia athletics generally, so it is my intention to publish a postgame wrapup as soon as reasonably practicable following the conclusion of this afternoon's roundball clash, then to put up a comprehensive summary of Saturday's remaining games, matches, and meets, including but not limited to women's gymnastics, on Sunday.

In the meantime, you are encouraged to share your intellectual observations, visceral reactions (within reason, of course), and personal quirks in the comments below.
