All right, I may have jumped the gun a bit on this, . . .
. . . since a more detailed posting just appeared. This should give you all the information you need.

Go 'Dawgs!
I have the iPhone app and in principle it is good. However, I find it to hang up quite a bit and to be quite buggy at times. The makers also seem slow to react to any snags created by updates to the iOS. I do use it, but the regular SB Nation experience is much better.

I just downloaded the Android app...
… and I’m pleased to say that it looks almost identical to the iPhone app that I have on my iPad.
I don’t plan to use it extensively, though, unless I’m in a place where it’s the only option. The screen is just too small to effectively get the feel of a thread. You can barely even see multiple comments without having to page down. That’s not the fault of the developers, though… just an effect of the smaller screens on phones.

Not bad, but it IS new
- I’d like it to rotate to landscape. I usually use Yahoo to login, but that’s awfully kludgy with this app (the verification is off the screen, which doesn’t scroll). I gave in and used my liked FB account.
- I’d like to be able to customize the Newsfeed a little bit – more from my favorite sites and one or two from others. Some folks probably like it chronological, but the Blog posts interspersed with SB Nation stuff I don’t care about is kind of cumbersome. I know it’s a SB Nation app, not a Dawg Sports app, but that’s my 2 cents.
- How about alerts, like with TweetDeck Tweet Caster, et al? If they’re available, I don’t see how to configure them anywhere.
I know it’s new, and the SB Nation team seemed to be exceptionally responsive for the iOS app, so I’m not saying I’m uninstalling or that I hate it. Right now I’d rate it a 3, I guess. I’ll use it on my Bolt, but I’ll stick with the full site when on my tablet (for now).
