As a fan base, we all are shocked and saddened by the news of Larry Munson's passing, so much so that we are made more conscious than ever of how insignificant sports can be in the grand scheme of things. However, Larry knew as well as anyone the power of sports to bring people together in a common cause, and he devoted his career to bringing to life such exhilarating scenes for those who could not be present to witness them in person.
