"Since the end of [Tennessee's] disastrous 2008 season, the Vols — despite all their coaching turmoil — have almost the same record as Georgia. In the last two-plus seasons, UT is 16-14 following Saturday's victory over Buffalo; Georgia is 17-14 after beating Mississippi State."

I’m still figuring out formatting…or at least I’m attempting to figure it out.
GoVolsXtra appears to be making rather an unexceptional observation here.
We went 8-5 in 2009. Tennessee went 7-6 that same year. The difference in our records was that we won our bowl game, and they didn’t.
Both teams went 6-7 last year.
They’re 3-1 this year. We’re 3-2. Neither of us has beaten a good team.
They’ve changed head coaches twice. We’ve changed defensive coordinators once, secondary coaches once, offensive line coaches once, strength and conditioning coaches once, and linebackers coaches twice.
Both programs have been in turmoil. Both programs have seen extensive staff turnover. Both teams have struggled. GoVolsXtra’s point would be . . . ?
Go 'Dawgs!
The only take away I had was every team we play it's a "must win" for them.
Every game is a must win if you get down to it. It seems a weekly break down of CMR’s history and hot seat is some kind of requirement.
