Dawgs Macabre: Gator Bash

Congratulations, Dawg Sports. We've finally reached the Friday before game day. Others have pointed out the excellent quality of Gator hate posted on the blog this week, and I echo that sentiment. Well done, ladies and gentlemen. Whether or not you're predicting a Bulldog beat down or a Gator gallop, hopefully we can all agree that we won Hate Week in our corner of the internet.

Y'all know the drill by now; unlike Bobo, I'm not going to quit doing what works for no good reason. One karaoke video, one regular song video, and the Dawgified song are posted below. Enjoy this last entry of Dawgs Macabre, unless...no. I'll not allow myself to think about that just yet.

Gator Bash

I was cheering in the stands one game day

when my eyes beheld an awesome play.

For the Bulldogs' quarterback threw a stunning strike,

and suddenly, to Gators' dislike,

They did the Bash.

They did the Gator Bash.

The Gator Bash.

It was a J'ville smash.

They did the Bash.

It caught on in a flash.

They did the Bash.

They did the Gator Bash.

From the conference standings in the SEC East,

to outside the bus where energy vampires feast,

the fans all cheered with great intensity

not only for the Dawgs but for Tennessee.

They did the Bash.

They did the Gator Bash.

The Gator Bash.

It was a J'ville smash.

They did the Bash.

It caught on in a flash.

They did the Bash.

They did the Gator Bash.

The zebras were having fun;

the flagging had just begun.

But the Dawgs just played too well in

a way that did honor Munson.

The stadium was rockin'; fans were digging the Dawgs

moving the chains and getting critical stops.

The special-teamers for once were sublime,

with their brightest and best, the place kicker fine.

They did the Bash.

They did the Gator Bash.

The Gator Bash.

It was a J'ville smash.

They did the Bash.

It caught on in a flash.

They did the Bash.

They did the Gator Bash.

Out from the sideline Richt's voice did ring;

seems he was wondering just one thing.

Addressing that ex-Dawg Mischump prig,

he said, "How do you Gators like my Jacksonvillian Jig?"

It's now the Bash.

It's now The Gator Bash.

The Gator Bash.

And it's a J'ville smash.

It's now the Bash.

It's caught on in a flash.

It's now the Bash;

It's now the Gator Bash.

Now everything's cool; Richt's our favorite man

and the Gator bash is the hit of the fans.

For all true Bulldogs, this Bash was meant to

give the Gators what for and tell them hey from Belue.

Then you can Bash.

Then you can Gator Bash.

The Gator Bash.

And do my J'ville smash.

Then you can Bash.

You'll catch on in a flash.

Then you can Bash.

Then you can Gator Bash.

"Woof! Bash good."

"Easy, Uga, you impetuous young pup."

"Woof! Bash good! Woof! Bash! Woof!"
